Existing UI elements that need work on

Assets that need visuals to be improved on -

  1. Planets - Each planet could have 5 rings each of which become brightly coloured whenever each level in it is completed.

  2. Background behind planets.

  3. Font for "Typestroid" could be changed. Should be legible and also cohesive with the aesthetic - if pixel art is our style it should have an 8-bit sort of look while if its a vector style a more cartoonish bold font would work better.

  4. Perhaps a colour palette could be decided for the game.

  5. Settings could include toggling options for -

    a. Sound Effects

    b. Background Music

    c. Alternate colour settings for colour blind people

    d. Phone vibration for better sensory experience. Phone vobrating could be reserved for important events such as taking damage, completing a level, unlocking a new item, etc.

  6. "?" or the "Help" button could be replaced with a "Lore" section. The initial default page sets the premise for the game. After this whenever players encounter new mechanics, obstacles or powerups these are added as pages to this section.

  7. Post level completion - maybe in addition to viewing how well they performed through stars and CPM they could also see which materials they collected in the level. These materials could be used to unlock custom skins for the ship later on.
